Sleigh’s celebrates five decades of a journey defined by people, purpose, and place. To commemorate 50 years of excellence, Sleigh’s is launching a heartfelt charity initiative that invites communities to join in a year-long adventure of giving back, inspired by the landscapes and lives that have shaped Sleigh’s story.
The highlight of the celebration will see the Sleigh’s team will embark on a 50-mile cycle through the vibrant heart of Edinburgh and the scenic East Lothian countryside. This inaugural challenge champions a cause close to Sleigh’s values — supporting Leuchie, a unique East Lothian refuge providing specialist care and respite to individuals and families affected by neurological conditions such as MS, MND, Parkinson’s, and stroke.
Leuchie stands out in the UK for its holistic approach, blending specialist nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and cutting-edge healthcare technology to restore independence, improve health, and reduce isolation for its guests and their carers.
But the 50-mile cycle is just the beginning. Throughout the year, Sleigh’s will undertake a series of inspired challenges, including 50 wild swims, 50 hill climbs, and 50 acts of kindness — each step fuelling ongoing support for Leuchie and its vital mission.
