Role Overview: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative travel professional to join our luxury planning team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be supporting our planning team to execute high-end luxury itineraries throughout Scotland, England and Ireland.

The ideal applicant would be someone who can keep pace and offer fresh ideas in an evolving and fast-growing business, and who thrives in an “all hands-on deck” environment. This is an exciting job opportunity for anyone looking to develop a career in luxury travel and who wishes to be part of an energetic and dynamic team within a growing and celebrated DMC.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act in a support capacity for Sleigh’s Destination Experts for confirmed bookings
  • Contact Sleigh’s preferred suppliers to confirm and book services for clients
  • Deliver seamless personalised programmes for Sleigh’s clients, coordinating suppliers, partners, travel documentation and experiences etc. 
  • Develop excellent product knowledge for Scotland, England and Ireland and Sleigh’s unique offering
  • Collaboratively work with all members of the Sleigh’s team to ensure seamless delivery of travel programmes

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage last-minute demands
  • Passion for travel and entertainment
  • Detail oriented 
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team player

Desirable Attributes:

  • Good relationship with UK hospitality suppliers
  • Knowledge of high-end hospitality and/or luxury travel
  • Good time management
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Positive demeanour
  • Have a passion and understanding of the Luxury Travel Industry within the UK & Ireland
  • Personal travel experience around the UK & Ireland
