Ben, a passionate explorer and lifelong traveler, hails from Nepal. He has been adventurous from a young age, embarking on journeys to obscure places via unconventional means like riding on the back of lorries and trekking long distances to reach remote mud strip airports. Fueled by this early travel bug, Ben has dedicated his adult life to continuous exploration and learning, always seeking unique ways to travel and undertaking groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of imagination. Katia is a recent addition to the Sleigh's team, bringing a wealth of expertise in the UK & Irish travel market to her role as Operations Manager. Her strengths rely on team efficiency & collaboration, streamlining processes, and quality control (including a nerdy love for grammar and spelling). In addition to being a self-professed foodie and whisky expert, Katia is a strong advocate for the restorative qualities of the great outdoors, having conquered over 80 Munros in Scotland and countless long-distance trails across the UK & Ireland. She is keen to share her wide local knowledge and fascination for the history and culture of the British Isles, welcoming travellers to explore remarkable off-the-beaten-track destinations.
